St. Leonard’s Day

St. Leonard’s Day is a feast day dedicated to honoring St. Leonard of Noblac. In his lifetime, his prayers were credited with powerful miracles for the release of prisoners. The legacy of his work inspired St. Leonard’s Ministries founder, Father James Jones, who first opened his home to returning citizens and later established an organization that has supported second chances for more than 65 years.

Every day we witness real life transformations. The men and women that participate in St. Leonard’s programs receive a diverse array of services to aid their reentry journey. From food, clothing and shelter, cognitive behavioral therapy, substance use treatment, physical health assessments to education and employment training. Because of these services, participants leave our program with a new outlook on life, employment, and the confidence to succeed in community.

Your support helps make these successes possible. When you volunteer your time, or share your financial support, we are able to pay it forward to every person who walks through our doors seeking a second chance. But we know there are many more in need and we want to help change more lives! This is why we invite you to join us for our very first day of giving on Wednesday, November 6th. It is not just a day that we ask you to give, we will also pay your gift forward by becoming a greater community asset.

YOU GIVE.

Volunteer your time with a group or as an individual.

WE GIVE.
