St. Leonard’s Ministries - Rebuilding Lives, Reshaping Futures

Volunteers contribute to the mission of St. Leonard’s Ministries in a variety of ways.  Below are a few of the many possibilities:

General

  • Lead a Tuesday evening life skills meeting at St. Leonard’s House.
  • Bring a gathering of friends to share a meal with residents.
  • Share your talent with residents.
  • Mentor former residents of Grace House.
  • Assist in a computer lab.
  • Perform small office tasks as needed.

Individuals who would like to volunteer with one of the St. Leonard’s Ministries programs or who would like to strategize about the best use of their talents should contact the SLM Volunteer Services Coordinator at 312/738-1414 (x/19) or volunteer@slministries.org.

Educational

  • Tutor SLM participants in a variety of subject areas.
  • Assist as a teacher’s aide with the St. Leonard’s Adult High School.
  • Lead a summer workshop.
  • Assist in a computer lab.
