Employment

The purpose of the Michael Barlow Center training and education programs is to prepare individuals for the world of employment. Job seekers who have completed one or more of these programs are referred to the Michael Barlow Center’s Employment & Retention Specialist. The Employment & Retention Specialist meets with participants to assess skills for appropriate job referrals. The Center works with individuals until they are successfully working in a full-time, permanent position. The Employment & Retention Specialist continues to work with individuals to address barriers to long-term job retention.
