Saint Andrew’s Court
Since its opening in 1998, Saint Andrew’s Court has provided a setting in which men who have successfully completed the Saint Leonard’s House program can find continued support in their journeys toward independent, whole lives. This is accomplished through the provision of safe, affordable, appealing housing accompanied by a comprehensive program of supportive services which are developed and conducted in conjunction with those provided through Saint Leonard’s House.
The Supportive Services Program provides an array of resources and programs designed to ensure the success of residents in an independent living setting.

Where We Help
A joint venture on the part of Lakefront SRO, the Chicago Department of Housing and the Illinois Housing Development Authority, Saint Andrew’s Court offers 42 single-room-occupancy apartments. Each unit is completely furnished. A community room is available for meetings, activities, watching television and entertaining guests. A laundry room is on the first floor and a small weight room is in the basement. Outdoor yard space is available for summer recreational activities.
“Saint Leonard’s means the world to me. They opened their arms up to me, they showed me love.“
– Dale, Saint Andrew’s Court Alum
How We Work
From renewing the body and nurturing the mind to reviving the spirit, our programs and services guide men and women through the necessary steps to transform their lives for the better. Time spent in Saint Leonard’s programming and at Harvest Commons often leads to healing, reconciliation with family, and renewed hope for the future. Once again, empowering men and women to lead whole and productive lives!
